EU: New Server in Manchester, UK and Test Server in NL

We have added a new VPN server in Manchester, UK and in Netherlands. We are testing the network in Netherlands and this server will be active for 1 month. Access is provided to all Premium and Ultimate VPN subscribers. You may use the server in NL for P2P / downloads however no P2P on UK server.

If you are using Microsoft Windows please reinstall OpenVPN.

Based on the feedback we have received so far from our valued customers, We have made certain changes to our service.

1. Our money back guarantee has been increased to 7 days from 3 days.
2. Torrents and P2P are allowed only on Ultimate VPN.
3. We now offer quarterly and half-yearly pricing.
4. The monthly price for the Premium VPN plan has been increased to $5.95. The effective price for the quarterly and half-yearly Premium VPN is still $5 per month. There is no change in the yearly pricing. Our payment processing fees and overheads for the Premium VPN monthly plan was too high.

We have added a new server in Netherlands for Ultimate VPN users. Please update your configuration files.

We have added a server in Los Angeles and replaced the existing server in Illinois with a high end server. Both servers support OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP VPN. With this addition, Acevpn subscribers have access to VPN gateways in 10 different locations around the world, 5 in USA and 5 in Europe. Premium subscription costs $5 per month or $55 yearly.

Changes in Torrent and P2P file sharing policy

We decided to block torrents and P2P file sharing on our USA and UK servers. We had too many abuse and its not viable anymore to allow P2P on USA and UK networks. It’s a shame we had to take such a drastic step but this was needed to avoid inconvenience to all our users and prevent further damage to our network.

For legal Torrents, P2P and Usenet please use the P2P config file available in the members area.

Please refer to Protect Privacy on P2P and Torrents to keep organizations and individuals from collecting data about you without your consent.

We have added a new server in Italy. This server supports OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP VPN and will eventually be part of the Ultimate VPN when launched. For now all premium subscribers have access to this server.
