EU: Connectivity issues

We are experiencing connectivity issues with 4 EU servers at this time. Except for the recently added server in UK rest is inaccessible. We are working with the data center to get the servers up ASAP.

USA servers and the server ending with IP .157 in UK are functional.

We are also planning to add / move few servers to other data centers in EU to prevent this from happening again.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Update (Jan 25, 2010): Servers are functional again. We are monitoring the servers closely. We are also in talk with few other data centers in EU. Thanks for your patience.

Update 1 (Jan 25, 2010): We just added a new server in France. We have 1 more coming up by weekend in UK. This server will be in a different data center.

Update 2 (Jan 26, 2010): New server added in UK. This server is in a different data center. Thanks for your patience while we resolved this issue.

EU: New server in UK / France

We have added a new server in UK / France. The server supports OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP VPN. Access is provided to all premium vpn subscribers at no extra cost. If you are not a subscriber Sign up here.

If you are using Microsoft Windows please use the new windows installer. For instructions visit OpenVPN build with save password enabled

Other platforms please download the new configuration files. If you are using Ace VPN on routers or other devices you will have to manually update the IP’s from the configuration file. The installation instructions are available at http://www.acevpn.com/contact-ace-vpn#kb

EU: Server in Netherlands replaced

We have replaced the server in Netherlands. Following is the speed test result.

We have added a new server in Germany. We are still testing this server and both Openvpn and PPTP are supported. Access to this server is available to all premium subscribers at no extra cost. We would appreciate any feedback you provide on the speed and other connectivity issues if any.

UK: Server .110 issues

The UK server with IP ending .110 is offline due to some failure. We are working with the data center to get this server up ASAP.
